Ometepe is the largest volcanic island located in a freshwater lake. It is in the center of Lake Cocibolca. Its two volcanoes, one active (conception) and the other dormant (woods), are part of the most beautiful attractions of the island. When you move in it, you practically travel in the middle of these two volcanoes and the view is simply beautiful.

Ometepe Island, toured on an ATV is another level of adventure with a different adrenaline charge. This tour departs at 6:15 in the morning and we travel an hour and a half to San Jorge. In this port we take the ferry for an hour to the island. Once on the island, our guide will be waiting for us and our adventure will begin there in the town of Moyogalpa. On the ATVs we will visit the towns of Moyogalpa, Altagracia, San Jose del Sur, Playa Mangos, Playa Santo Domingo, Playe Peru among others. Our last stop will be the Ojo de Agua Natural Reserve, a paradisiacal place, perfect for relaxation. Here we will spend several hours, have lunch and take whatever we want before returning to the port to take the ferry back to San Jorge and our transportation to Granada.
